FALL PROTECTION ALARM
FOR AERIAL LIFTS
An Audible Reminder to Tie Off When Operating an Aerial Lift
Safe N Sound alerts an aerial lift operator who begins ascending or descending without securing their self-retracting lanyard to the platform’s anchor point. The audible warning provides an immediate reminder to stop and tie off.
105 dB audible alarm
No lift modifications
Compatible with self-retracting lanyards
Batteries included
A full-body harness and self-retracting lanyard can only perform their intended function when the lanyard is properly secured to the platform’s designated anchor point. Even when the required equipment is present, a missed tie-off can leave a critical gap in the operator’s fall-protection system.
Safe N Sound adds an audible reminder at that critical moment. If an operator begins ascending or descending without tying off, the alarm prompts them to stop and secure their lanyard before continuing.
Fall Protection Only Works When the Operator Is Connected
WHY SAFE N SOUND
Like a seatbelt reminder for an aerial lift, Safe N Sound helps reinforce an essential safety habit.
Safe N Sound attaches to a compatible self-retracting lanyard and uses integrated pressure and altitude sensors to monitor vertical movement. It adds an active warning to your existing fall-protection procedures without requiring modifications to the aerial lift.
A Simple Alert at a Critical Moment
HOW IT WORKS
1) Attach Safe N Sound
Secure Safe N Sound to a compatible self-retracting lanyard with the hook-and-loop attachment, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
2) Monitor Vertical Movement
Pressure and altitude sensors monitor vertical movement as the aerial lift ascends or descends.
3) Hear the Warning
When the system detects vertical movement that indicates a missed tie-off, the alarm prompts the operator to stop and secure their lanyard.
Safe N Sound is a supplemental warning device. It does not replace required fall-protection equipment, inspections, employee training, or established workplace safety procedures.
Scan the QR Code. Document the Inspection.
Each Safe N Sound unit includes a QR code that gives operators quick access to a digital inspection workflow. Operators can document pre-shift or pre-elevation checks of their harness and lanyard before beginning work.

WHERE SAFE N SOUND FITS
Safe N Sound supports existing fall-protection procedures wherever compatible aerial lifts and self-retracting lanyards are used.
Warehouses and distribution centers rely on stock pickers and elevated work platforms for daily operations. Safe N Sound adds an audible reminder that reinforces
tie-off procedures on compatible equipment.
Warehousing & Distribution
Aerial lifts move between changing elevations, work areas, and jobsite conditions. Safe N Sound alerts an operator when detected lift movement indicates a missed tie-off.
Construction
Maintenance teams use aerial lifts for inspections, installations, lighting, mechanical systems, and building repairs. Safe N Sound reinforces tie-off awareness during scheduled and unexpected service work.
Facilities & Maintenance
Safe N Sound provides a consistent audible reminder across departments and shifts. Its QR-code workflow also supports standardized inspection documentation for compatible equipment.
Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Safe N Sound is intended for use with compatible self-retracting lanyards. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the fall-protection requirements for your specific equipment and worksite.
Falls Are The Leading Cause Of Death Among Construction Workers
“OSHA requires that fall protection be provided at elevations of four feet in general industry workplaces, five feet in shipyards, six feet in the construction industry and eight feet in long-shoring operations.
In addition, OSHA requires that fall protection be provided when working over dangerous equipment and machinery, regardless of the fall distance.”
