In the high-risk environment of working at height, personal fall arrest systems (PFAS) are crucial for protecting workers. These systems, commonly used by Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) operators, can save lives, but only when used correctly. A single overlooked step – not being securely tethered to an anchor point – can render the PFAS useless and lead to severe accidents. This is why we developed Safe N Sound, a device that detects and alerts operators who are elevating or descending without being properly secured.
